These "chocolate" balls may be small, but they make a great snack or quick breakfast.

The cacao powder in the recipe gives them great chocolate brownie taste.

They’re all natural, have only 4 ingredients and no added chocolate and sugar – overall a great alternative to chocolate balls for both kids and adults.

Healthy No Bake “Chocolate” Orange Balls

1 cup unsalted nut mix

1 1/2 cups Medjool dates

1/4 cup unsweet cacao powder

zest from 1/2 orange

2tbs of orange juice (if needed)

shredded coconut for coating or cacao (optional)

In a high-speed food processor, add the nut mix. dates and cacao powder and blend well, add the orange zest and orange juice and blend to a dough. Transfer the dough a large mixing bowl. Using your hands, form small balls and place on a lined plate. Roll in cacao powder or shredded coconut and place in the refrigerator until firm.

Keep in the freezer for 3 months.
