I make this smoothie as a quick breakfast if I’m in a hurry or after a good workout.
I started to add the Greene Smoothie to my baking classes and workshops for kids and adults and it became a hit and a very healthy popular class.
1 cup Spinach leaves
1/2 cup Parsley
1/4 cup Kale
1/2 frozen ripped Banana
3 frozen Strawberries
3 pieces of Dried Dragon Fruit (Prieta)
I like to use frozen fruits, so the smoothie will be thick and cold. If you are using fresh fruit, you can add ice to the blender.
I use water because I don’t want my smoothie to be too sweet. The fruits will give the smoothie plenty of flavor and sweetness.
You can use apple juice or any other liquid that you like. First, blend all the green with the water so we will have a smooth smoothie. Then, add all other ingredients and blend for 2min. Done!
Sometimes I add half Avocado and cucumber to my smoothie. The Avocado gives the Smoothie thickness. If you add Avocado, add also 150ml water for a runny light Smoothie.
